Hi all
I have an entry where when I transcribe "uti," I want it to be all capped to "UTI." Well, when I type it, it only pans out as "uTI." The same happens for ER ("eR"), etc.--you get the picture. This just started happening--I have had these entries for a long time and they have worked just fine until now. Can anybody troubleshoot this for me? Thanks.

Hi, and welcome!

Have you added any new programs to your computer, or very recently done any setting changes? Also, can you think as to whether you have performed any certain action on your computer before this occurs? If yes, you may have found your culprit. If no to all, hopefully this was just a glitch that a reboot will actually cure. Who knows why sometimes things go bonkers? If it happens again, try bringing up the Shorthand window with your hot key or by clicking on the icon to see if that helps. I would have suggested playing with your pause setting in Shorthand first, but if everything has been fine and only suddenly started doing this, I doubt that would change anything.

Here's a Shorthand page that is often helpful.
