Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to edit the position of a word on the word list I am using with IT. Moving an expanded phrase up or down is easy, but I can't quite figure out now to move the position of a word up and down in the word list.

Can anyone please help? Thanks.

Is this in a merged glossary or an included glossary? Remember, if it is included it will be added to the list in the order the glossaries are loaded. Hope this helps!

The word list brings up the words similar to a wild card search: you type the first letter and any of the following letters and the words will be there ready to be extended.

Words can only be moved into a certain order when they have dedicated short forms. In that case they will appear in the Phrase advisory. With the wild card search the way the words come up depend on which letters you type. Instant Text matches on the fly which words correspond to what you are typing.

You may want to look into Mike's ABCreate glossary that allows you to have the words in the Phrase advisory and ordered by frequency.
