This seems to be working pretty well for me: I'm using the letter "J" to sort of split a word (it's pretty easy for my mind to remember this as I used to use the / mark in between words in autocorrect before switching to Instant text).
I had so many words memorized using the / in autocorrect, I kinda hated to give it up, so I substituted the slash mark for a "J". I thought this might help someone coming from a similar situation: Here's a few I'm using now:
ajl =anterolateral
ajm = anteromedial
sjl = superolateral
pja = posteroanterior
pjl = posterolateral
aja = atlantoaxial
fje = flexion/extension
ijl = inferolateral
I also use some other ones, that are not directions such as:
brj = brachioradialis
cjc = coracoclavicular
cjt = cervicothoracic
And a few others I also couldn't give up are:
tjo = throughout
ujl = ureterolithiasis
njl = nephrolithiasis
Anyone else using a letter or number to sort of "split" a word/words in half?
