LOL. It's OOs answer to Microsoft's clippy, I suppose! I was just fooling with AutoCorrect in OO and found that every time I used an abbreviation I had added, the smiley light bulb would pop up in the lower right part of the screen. Can we say distraction? Well, they call it the Help Agent and it is supposed to go away after performing the same task a few times if you ignore it, but how many times that is I don't know. Kept popping up for me!

QUOTE
The Help Agent starts automatically when you are performing a task that might require some assistance. The Help Agent appears in a small window in a corner of the document. To view the help for the task, click inside the Help Agent window.

The Help Agent automatically closes after a short delay. If you ignore the Help Agent each you time you perform a certain task, the Help Agent no longer opens for that task.

You can disable it by going to Tools>Options>General and unchecking Help Agent.
