Well, it's been a long haul, but I've done it....sort of. After falling and breaking my hand right after posting my last message, I had plenty of opportunity to practice with IT. I could only type using 2 fingers for a couple weeks, but kept plodding along trying to work.

I've changed the number of lines that show to 9 and I've finally trained my brain to type the first letter of each word. Once that happened, my production picked up. I am now up to 150 lph average and on really good days, I can do 193-200. Yesterday, I did 234 lph!!!! eclipsee_Victoria.gif

I've added a lot more phrases and single words try to add more each day. I've also added a lot of tests and procedures that are practically identical into a separate glossary. I still have some work to do on my glossary because of the many, many duplicate shorts, but work has become very hectic with working on different accounts, sometimes 3 different a day, plus I'm trying to learn VR as a backup, and I'm working 7 days a week.

I haven't had the time to work on "Jump To" commands or macros, but will get around to it sooner or later. The most pressing thing for me to do right now is to LEARN the MS shortcut keys. I've always been a mouse person and it is beginning to be a pain.

Thanks again to all who have given me suggestions. This board has been most helpful. I only hope I can pay it forward. S_bouquet.gif
